The founder of PT_Academy, Gulsah unifies her passion, academic career and professional career in sports physiotherapy. 

She studied physiotherapy and rehabilitation in Turkey and Netherlands, received her undergraduate degree from Hacettepe University, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. She pursued her passion for sports and received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sports Physiotherapy. She received his doctorate (P.D.) specialization in education from his undergraduate education. In addition to her academic achievements, Gülşah worked with major league volleyball teams and was the national team physiotherapist for Turkish National Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Taekwondo Teams providing manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation and clinical pilates applications. Notably, she was one of the youngest therapists picked for the position.

Her career journey gave her the opportunity to be an integral part of sports rehabilitation and testing athletes and teams at some of the most advanced institutions in Turkey working with local and international olympic athletes.

Currently, she is teaching at Acıbadem University, works with Turkish Basketball Federation as the official team physiotherapist and continues to provide care and guidance at PT_Academy. 

Her professional area of interests are athlete health, functional exercises, movement and posture disabilities, injury risk analysis, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, manual therapy. When she is not a work, she is involved in extreme sports, cycling, ceramic, classical turkish musics and plays musical instruments.
